We fully disclose issues and options
Some computer consultants screen the information they pass on to their clients. Have you ever seen suit-wearing consultants call a huddle to decide on how to spin a problem to a client? Not so with us. You get the full, unabashed, honest truth about whatever issues confront you, even if it is to our own embarrassment.
We don’t mind if you look over our shoulder or ask us to teach you how to do what we’re doing.
We pride ourselves on having earned the trust of our clients; we protect confidential information as if it were our own. We provide you with all configuration information and passwords we set or collect, because this knowledge is your asset.
We do not sell equipment
There is an inherent conflict of interest when the person you turn to for honest advice is also in the business of selling equipment. We do not let resale margins or stale inventory taint our recommendations. If you are looking for a solution, we will identify what equipment best serves your needs, rank alternatives, explain the differences, and provide you with a list of vendors.
For all parts we stock or special orders you’d rather have us handle, you are charged a flat 10% over cost as a separate line item on the bill. We make our money by the hour as your technical agent, not by the sale.
We help integrate your systems
No computer is an island and we realize the importance of all of your computer assets working together. Our experience with Macintosh and Windows integration can simplify your workflow.
If your IT department knows everything Windows, but needs a hand with Macintosh, we’re happy to help.
We only bill for time we work
Some consultants require retainers, subscriptions, and emergency service fees. Not us. We only bill for actual work or travel time and have fixed hourly rates, so you only pay for what you need.
We do everything we can to keep your systems up and running smoothly. Unfortunately, since our industry is perpetually evolving, we cannot guarantee success or warranty results. We keep abreast of known bugs, industry developments, and do our best to minimize your downtime and maximize our results.
